Resin

After casting full-sized figures in fiberglass in the late 1960s, I began working with polyester resin and focusing on sections of the cast, such as a torso or fragment of a face. After the liquid resin was poured into the mold and cured, the resulting pieces required hours of sanding and polishing to achieve their clear, smooth surface.
